Bad development with the 8-reel tank

You used your 8-reel tank and the films from the very bottom of the tank were under-developed or had another issue?

Potential issue number 1

The problem may be caused by using the AP Photo reel at the very bottom of the tank. In the bottom two placements use the original Paterson reel only as the AP reel might get stuck against the side of the tank.

Potential issue number 2

Make sure you’ve used enough developer for the tank size. The correct chemical volumes for each tank can be found here: https://vintagevisual.eu/wiki/ago-wiki/minimum-chemical-volumes/
