The easy35 35mm sprocket holder is compatible with the easy35 system. It replaces the 35mm holder included with the main system and allows users to scan both the frame and the fixed area outside the frame while keeping the film flat, using a dual S-curve track design.

The gate width is approximately 33.2 mm, which allows scanning up to 95% of the film’s width. VALOI easy35 holders guide the film through a thin slot that runs the entire length of the holder and exits on the other side. This makes it easy to push or pull the film through completely, saving time and effort compared to traditional clamshell holders.

All VALOI holders use a dual S-curve design, where the slot for the film bends the film slightly in one direction before and after the scanning gate. This bending, on both sides of the film, achieves greater flatness than would be possible with a straight slot.
